He can up regulate the nervous system instantly, in the most effective way. His implementation of Quantum Neurology makes him one of the most sought after performance experts in the country.

Dr. Mantione himself suffered from troublesome pain and was plagued by injuries. Years of training and exercising incorrectly to become a professional baseball pitcher had left him with prolonged lower back and shoulder pain, ankle sprains, and hip, knee and foot problems. While his dreams of playing baseball professionally were crushed by injury, he did utilize his exposure to treatments from a variety of both traditional and non-traditional doctors and healers to focus his career on outside-of-the-box solutions for nagging pain and injuries. “I’ve learned something special from everyone who has crossed my path.  I treat the whole person, not just the pain, thereby getting to the root cause, he states.”

One of the missing links in traditional therapies, in his opinion, is attention to the feet. Many people who sprain their ankles and have pain and tightness in their feet, knees, hips, low back, and shoulders have imbalanced feet. His solution is to make some of the most innovative foot inserts in the world, activating the muscles of the foot and hip.  This prevents the feet and knees from caving in, thereby correcting faulty movement patterns in life, in sports and during exercise training. Dr. Mantione evaluates the person’s feet on a functional level, the only functional foot evaluation of its kind.

“I look for structural misalignments and faulty nerves that are causing imbalances in the feet, bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons and energy of the body,” he explains. “I activate the nerve signals to each part of the body, then align the body very gently (with or without manipulation).” He has helped to give new life to the careers of a Major League Baseball first round draft pick pitcher, top rated tennis players, basketball players, golfers, and numerous other professional athletes. As baseball is close to his heart, he developed a unique preventive baseball-pitching program, which prevents shoulder and elbow injuries during the season and increases velocity and accuracy.

Additionally, he took a unique approach and medically evaluated every exercise from the inside out. After years of research, he has been able to discover why exercise injuries happen, where they come from, and how to prevent them. “Knowing which exercises lead to and how to avoid injuries is the gold standard that defines Dr. Mantione’s practice.

Dr. Mantione is also an educator for the professional trainers of Equinox Fitness Clubs, the New York Road Runners Team for Kids, and a volunteer captain for the New York City Marathon Medical Team. He has appeared on radio and television, and in several magazine outlets. By joining forces with the Ash Center, Dr. Mantione hopes to heal people who can’t find relief elsewhere and to reboot the careers of athletes of all ages who have lost their edge from age or injury. He is a co-host of “Sick & Tired of Being Sick & Tired,” a live call in radio show that airs on 77WABC on Sundays from 3-5pm. “Because he treats the whole body, not just the pain, many people receive dramatic improvement in the first session.”
